Mouthpieces and Ligatures

All clarinets and saxophones come with a standard student level mouthpiece and ligature, which are 100% adequate. Even the best instruments are issued with just a standard mouthpiece and ligature.

To improve the tone quality, intonation (tuning) and articulation of your instrument it’s advisable to buy a professional level mouthpiece and ligature.
